My favorite story is Cinderella Man at the very end when James Braddock beat the tar out of Max Baer. Still the most emotional and heart pounding "TRUE" moment in a sports movie.

What about you?

Both happen to baseball movies:
1. Ray Kinsella playing catch with his dad in Field of Dreams.
2. Crash Davis getting released in Bull Durham. (best baseball movie ever!)

This made me cry...with laughter:

Bob Barker beating the crap out of Happy Gilmore! :D

I got choked up a bit at the end of Rudy when the dad gets all excited and starts saying "That's my boy!".

I really can't get into drama sports movies (Major League, on the other hand, is a favorite). Just strikes me as absurd to get emotional over a ball.

Miracle: "Do you believe in miracles?!?"
Field of Dreams: Playing catch with his dad

i'm the opposite. aside from "bad news bears" types, sports movies are very moving to me.

I always had a soft spot for that golden retriever who could play all those sports. I think it was Air Bud.

The fight scene at the end of the first Rocky, starting with the part where it is obvious Rocky has nothing left, but still wills himself to stay on his feet. And of course the part where he embraces Adrian.

Rudy - beginning where the players start to chant his name.
