spoolsv.exe Question

Alright, here is the problem. The Process spoolsv.exe is related to Printers but I don't own one. It is still in the Processes Tab taking up anywhere from 1K - 5K (on a rare occasion, up to 12K) of Memory. Yes -10K is fairly menial, but I don't want it running in the background anymore.

As far as getting rid of it, I have tried to end the Process, but it just comes back on. I checked www.processlibrary.com and it gave me no insight on how to get rid of it.

Now, ever since I built this PC, I have never attached a Printer to it and can only assume that this Process came with my OS. Any help on how to get rid of this will be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I was also wondering about StarWindService.exe. My Internet is screwing up right now and Processlibrary won't load. If anyone knows what this is for, please let me know. I do remember checking on it a while back and it said this was a Vital System Process or something of the sorts. It is running in the Services Tab when I run msconfig and am weary to end the Service.

Spoolsv.exe is a service (under adminsitrative tools).

Have you tried googling StarWindService.exe?

I used the Admin Tools a while back, but it popped back up after a couple of months. Hell, it may have popped back up the second after I closed the Services Menu, I didn't check.

Anyways, I did Google StarWindService, but my Internet is screwing up. It will load up only load up the pages I have cached and a few different others. I am getting too many Recieved Errors and will have to Restart to attempt to fix it. Either way, I don't want to bother with it at this moment. If someone knows what SWS.exe does and is for, great; if nobody does and I have to Google it tomorrow, no big deal.

StarWindService.exe is a process which belongs to Alcohol 120% and provides network drive sharing capabilities to this product. This program is non-essential process to the running of the system, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.
