Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Corsair Twinx2048-3500LLPRO -one stick in a1 slot, one in b1 slot
AMD Opteron 175
eVGA 7800 GT (times two)
ide boot drive as well as several other drives including 2 sata.
plextor PX-740A/SW-BL DVD as well as Sony CRX230EE/B2 CDRW

I'm having a somewhat similar problem with the BSoD that Bugen is having. I have a surprizingly similar rig to his but my problem is that whenever I put certain cd's into my drive, I get the blue screen, then the system crashes and, of course, reboots. It will continue to get the BSoD and reboot at the inital windows logo screen until I remove the offending cd. This occurs, so far, with photocds, Call of Duty 2, and Battlefield 2.

Any searching I've done so far has suggested that its a problem with the nVRaid drivers, or perhaps other chipset drivers. So far, ensuring current drivers for chipsets for raid, sata, and ethernet as well as bios upgrade, current nVidia drvs (81.89) have not corrected the problem. Neither does disabling raid and sata in cmos.

Right now, I'm nowhere with what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

So far, memtest is unremarkable, disabling autorun has no effect, disabling SLI had no effect, upgrading firmware on the Plextor had no effect.

How do I save the info from the blue screen of death. It goes by so fast I have no chance to see what it might contain.
