Spontaeous Rebooting Question

Here's the deal.

I decided to put together a computer out of some spare parts I had and make it into a Linux box/File Server.

Original Specs:
K6-III+ 450 @ 400 (really!)
Epox MVP-3G2 MoBo
256MB Mosel Vitelic PC133 @ 100 MHz
Asus 6800 Deluxe (GeForce 256 DDR)
Linksys 100TX v4 NIC
Cheapo case w/ 250watt PSU

Anyways, it was spontaneously rebooting after a day or so, and that's why I actually Underclocked this thing. I changed the BIOS setting to be most conservative as well, and that didn't help things either.

Being the foolhardy guy I am I swapped out the MoBo with a Gigabyte GA-5AX, and am seeing the exact same issue. This is just sitting there and not running anything (OK, I have it cracking rc5, but that's it. Right next to it is a Asus T2P4 box that acts as my router that's been up for 45 days, and just about the only thing it does is rc5 and network traffic copping)

I'm thinking it the cheapo PSU. Anyone have a different opinion before I run out and grab a new Sparkle or Enermax?

Thanks!

My best guess would also be the power supply. My old system ran on a FIC SD-11 board w/ a supposedly 300W AMD Approved power supply but it would randomly freeze/restart at least 3x a day. I went to CompUSA and bought a 300W of their brand and it stopped freezing and randomly restarting. I know the power supply from CompUSA is a pos probably but what does that have to say for the AMD Approved one? Go return the p/s and see if that's also your case.

edit : me learn grammar good
