spoilers in mouse over summary text

is there a way to block out the spoiler tagged portions in the mouse over preview text for an original post (when viewing the list of threads)?

was looking at the kick-ass 2 thread in off topic and noticed the text shows up in the preview even though it's spoilered.

edit: I guess this issue is somewhat related to the spoilers showing up in email subscriptions mentioned in this other thread.

It's a fundamental limitation of how spoilers are implemented in vB 3. There's not much we can do about it, and since we're due for an upgrade to vB 5 this year we will likely wait until then to address it, if vB 5 doesn't already fix it.
