Now that sounds really damned cool.

If it were in the hands of a more competant director who would be more likely to focus on the conflict at large and Obi Wan's side of things, rather than Anakin's angst, I'd be really excited.
 
My projected movie summary:
Revenge of the sith: Anakin and Padme bump uglies, Jedis and clones win clone war, Anakin gets on jedi council, padme worries about anakin, jedi council worries about palpatine, palpatine takes over, jedi council is destroyed with help of Anakin, Padme escapes with help of friendly wookie, Obi-wan and Anakin fight, Obi-wan pwnz, Obi-wan goes into hiding, Lucas makes a couple more million dollars, the end.

The clone wars give senator/chancelor/emperor/whatever palpatine the excuse to sieze more power. He gets enough power, the jedi turn against him, he has a reason to disband the jedi council.

I don't care for him either. I don't care for Jake Lloyd, Samual Jackson or Liam Neeson for that matter. Amazingly, I thought hadyn christianson was a good choice for anakin.
