Spoil D2:LOD for me

I don't have the time or the money to play Diablo 2 LOD, so I've decided to skip it and wait for a while before picking up any new games. I'd like you guys to spoil the story and ending of LOD for me, so I can keep up with the story line (in case there's a D3).

You kill Baal, Tyreal destroys world stone, the end... not much of a story is it?

However, what you really need to know is that no matter how many expansions are released and such, Stone of Jordans (SoJ's) will be THE currency.

How did it come about, well way back in D2 V1.03, a bunch of ppl found out how to dupe and such, and well, they mass produced SoJ's and Dual Leach rings. The duping may have come to an end, but there are still ppl out there with 30+ SoJ's and they influence the econmy with them as SoJ's are now even harder to find than before. Dual Leach rings could have became an alternative to the SoJ currency, but I don't remember why it never really took off.

So the story of D2 is, SoJ's SoJ's SoJ's

Baal dies, but the worldstone gets corrupted.

So azrael (I think?) breaks it, and now the demons of hell are free to run rampant in the mortal realm.

And you go through this portal thats called "the end of time" (or something close) and the game ends.

Total disappointment.

When you beat Baal, he will say to you "Oh man, you know this is really not fair with you going back to town healing all the time. How about we just shake on it and I'll send my minions to take over the Talabins and leave the Barbarian homeland alone. If I leave the Barbarian alone, would you promise to stop killing me 10^10 times a day?" The story ends with Baal having anal sex with bin Ladin and the suicide minions blowing up the Talabin headquarter.

I believe they are a couple of rings that give yuo mucho attributes including a +1 to all skills.
