Who on here listens to Spock's Beard? I just bought their newest CD Octane, I love it and I would like advice as to which CD to get next. And for those of you who have not heard of this band, yes, the band is named after that episode of Star Trek "Mirror, Mirror," where they go to a parallel universe in which the parallel Mr. Spock is differentiated by his beard. :D

I haven't heard Octane...are they any good without Neal Morse?

Neal's new work is pretty good, although 99% of ATOTers won't be able to look past the themes.

I had heard mixed reviews of Octane but I took a chance and picked it up. I was surprised by how much I like it.

There are twso types of people in the world...those who love keytars and those who hate them. Just think about it...

Back more back to the point, for those of you who have responded to this post and are familiar with Spock's Beard, which CD do you recommend? What are some of your favorites?

Dream Theater is better

Aside from the fact that they often get lumped into the absurdly diverse prog rock genre, comparing the two is utter folly.
