Elrond just talks a lot, and secretly fantasizes about his daughter. Spock has been a bonified butt kicker for 30+ years.
 
Don't forget Elrond has multiple personality disorder.

He could "wake up" at any moment and remember his alter-ego Mr. Smith. Then you'd all be fvcked. :Q
 
Spock? What does he do? Some cheesy pinch that probably won't work on elves. He does have a phaser, but Elrond has one of the three elven rings of power. Elrond would win.
