BS. One can get a S4 with the B&O system, sport diff, and nav for around $50K.

My only $.02 are that the '10 Camaro and the '11 Mustang will be at or above sticker. The 335i being well into the model life are much easier to get a deal on.

Why not cross shop the 135i and save $6K. Quite the stubby pocket rocket.

The RS package on the Camaro comes unpainted and looks like ass. I've spent significant time within a 2SS Camaro and have to say its not my style at all but it is damn powerful and mod friendly!

I have to give the nod to the 2011 400HP Mustang. Lighter, brighter interior, love the refresh in looks, better gauges, available Nav system and superior stereo, hopefully it will have a 6spd manual in 2011 as well. Larger trunk, more usuable back seat, and you gotta love the available track pack. Mod firendly as well, and cheaper mods to boot but the 2011 engine mods will be spendy at first.

Because teh 135i looks UGLY imo but each to his own.

I vote E46 M3 🙂

yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. But I think that the Camaro should be at or below sticker soon.

Yeah I agree. For some strange reason, every time I see a 1 series, I think of a pregnant dolphin... don't ask me why.

It looks like an angry clown to me...but 300HP in a very small package....

Sure if you opt out of the Audi Drive Select Package and only get the diff, otherwise it's 53K for the base model with those options. The upper model with those options is 56K, just like I said.

So BS on you tough guy.

Its a mustang not a ford GT. There will be so many of them available that the dealers won't be able to ask above sticker except for maybe when the first cars start showing up.

Umm the 1 series isn't that much smaller than the 3, not much lighter, and not much cheaper.

Of course by going with the Premium Plus, one doesn't get the drive select package. You aren't opting out of anything. You implied that one needs to get the "$56-58K" model to get the rear diff and "associated fast bits" whatever that means. The drive select won't make the car go faster, sorry.

So, like I said, It is around $50K to get an S4 with nav, upgraded sound system, and sport diff with 6spd.

dunno about Camaro and Mustang, but I just got my 09 335i delivered to me yesterday.

24 hrs later I still cannot wipe the smile off my face 😀

Woot!!

Pics? What did you get on it? I have an 09 also but I got mine before they came out with the M sport package. I wish I had waited a few more weeks but I didn't know it was coming out.

prob take pics after I get it tinted this weekend. Just base+premium hifi+auto (yeah it's a sin but the traffic in this place suck....too much trouble to always shifting)+xeon+ monaco blue + beige Leatherette + light burl walnut wood trim.

was debating about the M Sports package too but ultimately liked the stock interior and less aggressive look better (more a gentleman's look....planning to take ladies to fine dining and such....😛).

Nice! E90 or E92?

I got the E90 with sport/Logic 7/6MT in Space Gray with black interior.

CPrince, I paid $500 over dealer invoice at 0.9% financing for 5yrs. I got my car during the depths of the credit crisis so I got a pretty good deal. I think the car was about $41K and about $43K with tax. At the time, I was looking at the G35 sedan but I couldn't find a stick anywhere bc the G37s were coming in and those wouldn't come in stick for about 5 more months. The G35s were going for about $28K as they were clearing them all out. The MB C350 in the same config as my 335i was going for about $35K. The 328i was going for about $32K. Audi was ridiculously expensive. They wouldn't negotiate. I saw a 2.0T prestige for about $54K!! That's a 2.0T not the S4 or 3.2!! The other ones were going for about $48K. Pfft!!

E90 as well.

Paid ~$40k with diplomat discount. Part of my perk working for an international organization. Oh and this is the European version shipped directly from Germany with 306HP. 😀

Thanks for the info. The deals are probably even better now on the '09s, but I don't have any money, not even for the down payment--had to pay off some debts 🙁

Unless the options packages are different on Euro-market cars, Premium package includes leather seats.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your car, but the Sport package (as opposed to M-Sport) is really transformative in terms of the car's handling, and the only visible changes are a nicer steering wheel, more deeply bolstered seats, and different wheels. It's really a good deal IMO.

<---------(drives this Monaco Blue E90 with Sport package)

IMO, the sport package makes a big visual difference. The combination of lower springs, upgraded wheels, thicker steering wheel and the sports seat make the car look much more aggressive and sexy compared to non-sport.

When I see non-sport 3 series sedans, it looks like a typical family sedan with some smoother lines.

aaawwwh, you guys are too harsh on non-sport 3 series. I need a car that I can wine and dine high society girls without scaring them off 🙂 so I went with less aggressive exterior and interior.

I will probably lower the springs and upgrade the wheel in the future, why limit myself to BMW oem equipment right? 😛

edit: before you laugh at me on wine and dine high society girls in 3-series, consider 335i is only sold on order basis, for $100k (not kidding) here in this Asian country I live in (highest they have in stock is 325). I am only able to get it at my price directly from Germany without tax cause of my work status.
