Splinter Cell

I have an Audigy2 ZS sound card. When I play Splinter cell: Chaos Theory, and check the sound options, the EAX and Dolby are grayed out. Is that how it is supposed to be?

Does it look like that for you too?

I have the same card, and the same issue. I think they may automatically be turned on. I thought that I noticed a change in the audio quality, but that may just be me. Dunno though, are those lit up for anyone?
