Splinter Cell (XBox) - $9.99

Makes me wish I had an X-Box to play games on. Well, if this is at $9.99 for game consoles it can't be too much longer that they will have the PC version coming down to that price.

I do remember earlier this year when CUSA had this for FAR in one their midnight moonlight sales for PC but I didn't make it to a B&M in time.

very very hot price! sells for $20 on half.com for new.

OOS online, but still shows instock @ some stores.

//krunk (^_^x)

Time to buy it at compusa and return it at a different retailer for a higher price and get another game. And save the "Thats illegal BS." sue me..

This is very unethical and frowned upon on this forum. Hope you get banned.

What's funny is that Splinter Cell is greatest hits now, so even if he does trade it for credit somewhere else he'll only get $20. Wow, that's really worth the effort.........not.

Its really the sense of 'community' here at Anandtech that keeps me coming back. I mean the support network is amazing! Keep up the good fight fella's!

EB Games has been selling Platinum Hits titles for 2 for $30 ($15 ea.) and that includes Spinter Cell. Even at $20, it's a good deal for a pretty cool game. (Though not as great as it could've been - too much trial and error nonsense.)

copied from VE3D :

During the month of January, anyone who purchases Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for the PlayStation2, Nintendo GameCube, the Xbox video, or the PC, will receive a copy of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on the same platform - PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox (platinum edition), or PC - for FREE! This special offer will be available at all major retailers.

Can't believe how Splinter Cell's price just went in the dumper after a little over a year, while Halo still sits at $30 after 3 years.

/me thinks Splinter Cell owns Halo.

halo appeals to more ppl.. you don't need to have any patience to play 😛 everyone can run around and pull the trigger. that and halo is/was the xbox game of games.. they did have some pretty hot new stuff in the game

SC became a Platinum Hit, just like MechAssault and THPS4 and a lot of other games people bought for $50, but a year isn't too bad. When a game collapes in prices within 3 MONTHS, that's when something's up. I picked up Rogue Ops (Xbox) for $15 a couple of weeks ago after BB Gift Card coupon and that streeted in OCTOBER. I'm kicking myself for buying Outlaw Volleyball for $30 when it first came out, only to see it for $13 used at BBV today. Drat.

Halo is only TWO years old - like the Xbox - and while it should be a PH, it still sells tons to the sheep who actually believe it's all that and a bag a chips. The new EGM ranks it #2 of all time, high overpraise for a screamingly mediocre game.
