I just started playing it on the PC last night, and so far, i'm really impressed. I've never played anything quite like it, even though i mastered Ghost Recon. What does eveyrone think of this game?
 
I'm torn between buying it for my PC or PS2, the main problem to me is using the scroll wheel in place of using an analog controller 🙁 Any input would be appreciated, thanks 🙂
 
impressed..so far. graphics are nice, not unreal 2 nice but stil ok, just different. each is fun, blasting away like crazy is fun sometimes, just like sneakin
 
Great game. Beat it in a four day time span. Some of the missions really get you anxious. Love the stealth aspect of some of them. Brilliant game.
 
Played it, not really a big fan. Felt the controls were awkward, and I never felt like I knew what I was supposed to be doing in the missions.

I felt that way as well at first, but then as I got the hang of it, I was hooked.
 
I really liked this game. I beat it on the xbox though and imho I felt the xbox controller was superior to the keyboard and mouse for this game.

Ditto, but I'm on XBOX (yes I have a capable computer).
007 is a little more to my taste though.

I didn't play it much but it sorta reminded me of Thief .. how you creep around and shoot cameras and lights (candles in thief) and sneak up behind people and knock them out, etc.
 
How did the control translate? I beat it on my Xbox and though it was pretty good, but pretty much a one time game. Had to wait a real long time before I go back to replay it again.

but after now playing it for months, I downloaded the new level with Xbox live! and find that I have to replay the beginning to get the hang of the game again.

All in all it's a very imersing game.
 
I have the PC version and love it. The lighting effects are killer. My Wallpapers show some of the effects and lighting off. I am a Tom Clancy fan and have played all of his games from R6 to GR. IMO Ubi messed up Raven Shield and I won't be getting that. 🙁

I'm sure. It's dependent on what hardware you have though. That's one reason why I got the xbox version (not to mention I wanted to play earlier).

Did they say when PC version get the new downloadable map yet??

Actually, Tom Clancy has very little to do with the video games. If you love or hate the game, it's all Ubi Soft. 🙂
