Splinter Cell Double Agent

I have played every single Splinter Cell game (PC versions) many times over but never got into playing Splinter Cell: Double Agent on PC. This was mainly because the game was buggy and kept crashing on my PC. I was wondering, it's been long now since it's release so are there any patches released which make the game stable and playable on the PC?

Umm if I remember correctly you cannot enable HDR with any graphics card newer than 8800. Other than that it works ok.

The last patch was 1.02, which left most of the problems still there. Ubi dropped support for this game after that.

I've played it like one week after it was released and I had no crashes at all. It's a resource hog though and it made my 7600 GT crumble, even at 1024X768. The way I see it, both your rigs aren't able to handle the game on high settings, mostly because of those crappy videocards. Reduce the detail and you should be able to run it fine.

I searched for the patches and sadly nothing was released after v1.02. I'll install the game again and try the patch.
