I just got Splinter Cell: Double Agent. It's a great game :)

But you can only select resolutions up to 1280x1024.

My monitor's native res is 1680x1050 (and thats what I want to run the game at)
If I had know about this before may be I shouldn't have bought the game.

Any idea's??
I've looked at some of the inf's but so far no go.

It also creates a .sav file in the Application Data folder in my usernames folder in docs and settings.

Anyway to see whats in it and possibly modify it?

Taken from this post HERE

In SplinterCell4.ini (in both online and offine folders)

FullscreenViewportX=1680
FullscreenViewportY=1050

and be sure to raise the FOV a bit. I found 100 was jsut fien for SC:DA, though it's up to you.

Also in SplinterCell4User.ini:

[Engine.PlayerController]
DesiredFOV=100.0
DefaultFOV=100.0

And if you make changes in the in-game graphics optiosn menu such as enabling/disabling FSAA, Shadow quality, and a coudple other, the game will revert to whatever res you had before, so you'll have to bust open the .ini and make the changes again.

EDIT: Also if you patch the game you get the AA option in the video settings.
