splash screen in windows pre login screen

I installed some program that put a background splash image during my startup process (right before the login screen). It only flashes for a second or two, but it really annoys me, and I was wondering if anybody knew how to get rid of this. This is not the image that can be removed by the "/SOS" extension in the boot.ini file mind you, I believe this is an image that comes after that splash image of windows loading stuff.

Squirrels,

Have you looked in the program's settings? Sometimes they have on/off options for splash screens. Also, look in your Run-msconfig-startup file and see if it's in there. If so, just un-check and apply.

Maybe if you mention the name of the program, someone who uses it will have a specific answer.

NoelS is right. Just about all splash screens have a check box toggle in their parent software preferences, etc. Yes, it really would help to know what program is bugging you.

tradestation...it is a day trading application. I don't recall seeing a splash screen option. But I'll check again. If anybody uses this as well, please let me know.
