splain 2 ME! Why WinME when you've W2k?

I totally agree. WinME is just Windows 98 Third Edition. It has NO security whatsoever, does not have the stability of win2k, and is certainly not worth the 90 $US price (or even near that). ME's media player and other features are downloadable for free or easily replaced with other programs. These are the conclusions I have come to after extensive work with ME Beta3

And yes, I am frustrated that ATI doesn't have w2k drivers for its TV cards. 😱

Win ME is a good product, but not a great one.

Jdog,
I get a bluescreen (even in safe mode) when this card is plugged into any PCI socket. After my experiences (& re-installs) following my SBLive installation in Win2K, I am afraid to get creative with beta drivers (no pun intended 😉 ).

Anyway, I am going to try dual soud cards this week...this should be interesting.

I have windows98 First Edition.
It working very fine, I see no difference in 2nd, 3rd
except the built in IE5 in 2nd edition
and a few updated device driver I can easily download off the net?
