ok creepy, apparently spirited away has themes of japanese prostitution. bath houses with all women were houses of prostitution, the red lanterns are also another sign of that..

just go to that forum thread. i think i got the name right yes, its an alternative to realplayer. its a hack of mediaplayer 6.4 i think. download links are in that thread.

hmm...I tried it and it came up with an error saying i had to have realplayer/realone installed to view realfiles. bah.

the way i did it was that i saved the .ram file off the npr site. its basically an empty file with just the address. i opened that with unreal one to stream.

you save the .ram file by clicking the link on the popup window that comes up after u click the streaming audio link. sez something like click here if its not working. this probably goes for all sites with real audio.

that's basically what I tried...instead of save as, I choose open, and the popup for which program to use came up..I chose unrealone for it to use and got that error.

did you read the readme when installing unreal one? its got a few manual steps. you gotta move some files into system 32, move another into um... i forget, some system directory, and add the registry file.

you MUST read the readme. people in the unrealone thread complaining about it not working didn't read it either.
