Spirit Airlines

Have a trip to Florida planned in July... Atlantic City to Fort Lauderdale via Spirit airlines.

I booked my flight no problem online. People we are meeting down there a few days after we arrive, booked online, but chose the wrong departure flight. Well they try to call Spirit Airlines customer service and apparently noone ever answers. After a call to someone at the AC airport, they "recommend" cancelling their flight but they "are not at liberty to say why".

HUH?

Anyone have more info?

They were definitely a bottom feeder airline service when i rode down to Texas on it. The service on the plane was fine, and overall the flight was fine, but you can probably do better.

With jetfuel prices soaring ... I hope they are still in business next month. I want to go visit relatives in New York in August but will wait to book until closer to my departure time.
