It was on there for mere seconds and i completely wiped it up there shouldn't be any damage rite? It was only a small spill on the top of it nothing near the power or audio connections on the back of the unit.

If no water got inside of it or near the electrical components, then I'd say you have nothing to worry about. What kind of sub is it? Are you worried about the finish on it (if any?), or just the functionality of it?

Its an Onkyo sub and not the finish just I wanted to know if I should be worried if anything broke. or will break there is no cracks in the sub box so I don't think any water got into it that way.

As long as the water stayed on the top of the cabinet and never touched anything electronic or got near the speaker, you've got nothing to worry about. It's no worse than spilling on a table.

If it is like the old Onkyo HTIB sub that is now on family room duties then not if it just puddled on top, and even if it did spill over the back or sides it wouldn't cause any damage as the back side of the sub is recessed from all sides and is around a 1/5 inch deep so I doubt even if you spilled a bunch it wouldn't affect anything.

My computer actually fell on to the top of the subwoofer and the only thing that came out of it was a dinged up edge which (type of wood escapes me) was squeezed with my fingers back together and you can barely notice it. I am a little more careful now with my Bic which was a pretty big upgrade since I am kind of a bass head.
