Spilled water in Thinkpad 390

For the past 3 years I've been extremely careful with my laptop and I have never spilled anything on it. Now that I finally finished paying it off one week ago, I just spilled some water into the keyboard. I immediately turned it off, and tried to soak up some of the water with paper towels. It seems that some of the water has gotten inside. Does anyone have instructions on how I can carefully open this up and dry it out, or am I totally screwed and gonna have to pay more than the machine is worth to get it fixed?

With a water spill it is best to immediately flip the machine over ( with the LCD open of course) and let the water drain out , keep it like that for 1/2 hour, then use a towel to get the rest. If the machine is acting buggy like dead keys, then repair is the only answer . IBM will charge about $350 for KB replacement. If the water hit the motherboard .. expect to pay a little over $900.
