Ack! I was pouring out some 99% isopropyl alcohol near my open PC case (to clean a CPU), and I spilled some on the motherboard and processor. I let everything dry. Is this going to mess up my PC?

PC turned off. Let alcohol to dry. They dry fairly easy when in contact with air. Alcohol is a very good electronics cleaner. You should be fine! 90-10, 75-25, 80-20 solutions.

You're on a bad run with rooks it seems. First a bunch of sneezing and snotting on your PC, now you spilled something in it? For real? o_O

I'm just glad nothing really unfixable has happened yet, and that everyone on these forums has been so helpful.

Same here except the water leaked all over my new 6800GT. Thank goodness for distilled water.

Alcohol is nothing to worry about.
