i heard the venom thing as a very wild rumor (somebody made it up, i think)

it'd be hard to have most people go see a movie w/ venom... how do you explain in an hour the history/origin of venom? (plus another hour for the story)
he's also a bit hard for most people to understand/believe if they've never read the comics
