Spider-Man 2 question

Watching it on FX right now for the umpteenth time. But I just thought of something while watching it. That self-sustaining sun-globe thing that was pulling in any piece of metal around failed to even phase Doc Oc.

Aren't his limbs made of metal?

That's the whole point of their existence. They were made so he could work in that magnetic field thingee without getting affected

Doctor Octopus is portrayed by Alfred Molina in the film Spider-Man 2 (2004). However, the story is very contracted, and Octavius seems to have become Dr. Octopus and died within a year. While the comic version has been portrayed as highly arrogant, in the movie, Otto Octavius is a generally likable man, who is married to his loving wife, Rosaile "Rosie" Octavius (Octavius was not married in the comics.) He is the scientific idol of Peter Parker, and Peter first meets him through Harry Osborn, who is funding Octavius through Oscorp. Octavius regards intelligence as "a gift that should be used to benefit mankind", and rather than working with nuclear material, he uses nuclear fusion to create a miniature electricity-generating "sun", which he manipulates with four robotic tentacles, which he describes as impervious to heat and magnetism, mounted on his back by a harness.

He said it was impervious to magnetism during the initial demonstration. What is more strange, however, is the fight scene on top of the elevated train. When Dr. Octavius throws spidey FORWARD into the overhead walkway, spidey rotates through it, but after he clears the walkway he then hits Dr. Octavius from BEHIND!

wouldn't air resistance have slowed him down, so the doc could have actually passed spidey during this process.

But then, if spidey was going slower than the doc, how could he HIT him from behind? :Q

Doc Oc could've just walked forward.

spiderman 2 biggest problem is that spiderman punching him in the face should have knocked his jaw off or smashed his face in. Doc oc is human accept for the arms etc.

What is even MORE strange is how come spider-man's webbing doesn't come out of his butt like all normal spiders 😛

everyone is forgetting that horrible scene of the sun sinking into the ocean as tobey and KD magically swing (float up and sideways out of the in the direction backwards and above. I can't watch that scene... it makes me shudder.
