I've got this large spider living on the corner of my place. He's pretty cool, and has a web with about a 15" diameter. He re-spins it every night and it's been cool to watch.

Anyhow, I was heading out to throw some hot dogs on the grill, and I noticed he had caught himself a caterpillar. Tried to snap the best pictures I could...

It's an A40, and I think it's got something wrong with it...most of the time the left hand side of any pic will be blurry. I'd love a A75, but I'm poor....

I've conducted fights between a black widow and a grasshopper.

black widow won.

Black widow from large jumping spider.

black widow won.

I did a test..
Barn Spider vs Almost dead wasp

Wasp won! after a few seconds, the spider stopped moving
 
poor caterpillar. cant there just be peace and unity and love in this cruel desolate world?

i say fry them both and have bbqspidercaterpillar.
