I have an Athlon XP1900+, 1GB PC2100 and an ABit KR7A with GF4 Ti4400.

My options:
Buy a Gamecube and a few games (Soul Calibur 2 for a start :D) (£~150)
Buy an XP2500+, ABit NF7 and 256MB PC3200 (I have 256MB PC2700 already, meaning 512MB total) (£~190)
Buy a Radeon 9700 non-pro/9800 non-pro (not sure of prices/availability here in the UK) (~£200)
Buy seasons 1-5 of Stargate SG-1 on DVD. (~£180)
Buy a hell of a lot of albums (Helloween, Gamma Ray, Masterplan type stuff) (~£???)
Save the cash. (£225)
Spend it on PC games (Max Payne 2/HL2/Deus Ex 2 etc). (~£???)

I have about £225 or so that I can spend, I just don't know what to go for.
Help spend my money.

Other suggestions welcome.

None of those upgrades will really give you a good boost in performance. Go for more games, or pick up a PS2 and a couple of games.

I say keep the money, electronics is a rather stupid investment, perhaps, the worst you can make.

These are excellent: sharp writing, goot acting, interesting universe, ongoing stories with continuity from season to season.

Your ti4400 is still a great card, and will play Half-Life 2 as well as a fx5900 :)

But will you have more fun with fresh games or 100+ episodes of SG-1 goodness? Only you know.

Buy a videocard in the FS/FT forum. You could get a 9700 for maybe £119
