spencers sale, some stuff %75 off

I don't know how long this has been going, or if it is nationwide or what, but the 2 spencers i went in in Richmond, VA had a bunch of stuff for %75 off. the best score was some 16" luminglas things for $25 (orig $100) we bought all 4 that they had at the spencers here.

they also had some t-shirts and fountains and various other junk. of course YMMV.

what was pretty cool was the guy at the spencers here accidently took the percentages off wrong and my brother walked away with 2 of the 16" luminglas for $25 total, pretty nice.

Cool! Will have to stop by my local Spencer's, and see if they have the same deal. I love the look of those things!!

I wonder how difficult it would be to mod one of those into the door of a case, versus a window??

For that matter, would they interfere with the electronics inside the case?? That'd be an expensive lesson to learn if it did!! LOL

heh, it says to not put them near a tv. We had one next to the cable box and it made it so that the remote wouldn't work, heh, so I guess it wouldn't be so good to have it as a window on your computer, although that would look really cool.

You should DEFINITELY not put them near a computer. This is the kind of stuff metal cases are made to keep out!

So much for getting one of those lumiglass things!

I stopped by my local Spencer's, where they've had those tagged $99.99 (marked down to $69.99) for the longest time, and they've changed the price tag to $59.99, with a great big sign there that says "40% off"!!

Don't ya just love it when retailers use thier form of "new math" like that??
