Anyone play Spellforce 2 or Dragon Storm?

I played SF2 awhile ago and I liked it but i have CD version. I want to play Dragon Wars because of the Steam deal but I need the SF2 from steam to install. I was going to just buy the pack for $7.50 but I'm wondering if Dragon Storm is worth it. Is the game somewhat long or is it a short expansion?
 
I just picked up the Gold version but have to start all over again as resuming my previous campains are having issues resuming going from the OEM to gold version.
