Spell check titles - Firefox & Safari

Anyone know why neither Firefox nor Safari will spell check the titles of posts when you post on a forum?
 
I've heard a reason (not necessarily the reason) mentioned before; it was that they mistake the field for a password field, which shouldn't be spell checked.

ROCK ON! Found it out;

in Firefox, about:config, layout.spellcheckDefault, set to 2

Wooohooo!
