SPELL CHECK on basic outlook express?

Okay my dad bought a new Sony computer and Outlook Express (in XP) doesn't have a spell check option.... is there something he can do to make it there? I don't really want to put the newer outlook on it :-\

AFAIK...you don't have the spellcheck option till you install Office. OE uses the spellchecker from Word.

OE doesn't even have the spell checker on it that i can see. It's the OE from a freshly installed XP. His computer came with microsoft "works". 😕

I run express even though I have the full Outlook if I want it. I have Office XP and I have spell check on my express. So you probably do need Office to get the spell check on express. How about a spell check for ATOT messages? I sure could use one.
😉
