I just got this CPU fan from Newegg for my 1600+. It's really quiet (only 26.5dBa) but it doesn't seem to be cooling as well as others claim on the Newegg product reviews. I'm wondering if it's because I used the thermal pad that came on it. Has anyone else here had experience with this HSF? I'd like to know what kind of thermal paste you used and what kind of temps you got. Thanks.

 
I'm curious as to what kind of temps are you getting on what cpu? I'm sure that using Artic silver 3 will yield mUCH better results than the paste. I'm also considering getting a speeze to replace my OEM xp1800 HSF that I have on my tbird 1.1. They advertise as being pretty quiet and i read on http://www.overclockers.com/articles640/ that the 30dba model performs well.
 
I have a couple of WhisperRock II's, though they don't go by the name "Speeze", but I suppose they're the same.
I've been very happy with them, they cool well, are cheap, and they're quiet.
