speeding up boot times on P5AD2-E

Goes slow on POSTING compared to my dad's DELL at work. Much slower than my MSI K8N and I am running scsi with 4 opticals and an external scanner.

I didn't see anything in the BIOS that I can set to ignore SATA 2-4, and the secondary channels that aren't used.

Any ideas?
