Speeding up 13" MBP

I just ordered this caddy from newmodeus http://newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=259

I'll decide if I want to stick an SSD in there, or go for the Momentus XT. Leaning towards SSD at this point...

PS. The SSD wasn't even one of my original considerations. How did I get here? :sneaky:

So it's come down to these 2 choices:

(A) 500gb momentus xt + 8gb gskill ram (Newegg combo, $315 shipped)

(B) Intel 160gb ssd + newmodeus hd caddy ($465 + $47 = $512 - SSD bought locally)

Price difference ~$200

Even though the SSD combo would leave me with 4gb RAM, would it still smoke choice (A) in terms of overall system speed?

EDIT : Newegg won't let me ship to a US address from my international Paypal account, so (A) is off the table.
