Hey, just got quick question about VA laws and such.

I got a speeding ticket in VA for 13 over. I was doing 78mph in a 65 zone.

MY question is, I live in NJ and I was wondering if VA sent out info to my state, thus resulting in points added to my license.

I don't know if they do it or not, does anyone know?

maybe someone else has gotten a ticket in VA and lives in NJ.

thanks.

You should carry a fake ID and put fake license plates on your car so you can avoid these problems.

Usually between states your fine. I live in VA and had a couple of tickets in MD, only the full drivers report showed my MD tickets (never added points to VA though) Insurance I don't think can see out of state tickets (NJ maybe different) I could be wrong, but only you or the police (if you apply for police for a job) can see out of state tickets

No, I know for a fact that MD and VA share full ticket information with each other. I'm from MD, and I've gotten a ticket in VA before. But it all depends on whether they share all the info, or just the fact that you got a ticket. My VA ticket would've had points had I gotten it in MD.

And I know for a fact the NJ DOES get out of state violation notifications, so you might be safe for a while, but they WILL catch up to you.
