When you receive a ticket and given the choice to mail in the fine and attend traffic school. Do i have to provide the white copy of the ticket in the mail envople which says, "court communication copy." I know it says to include the ticket number on the check or money order, but whats the white copy of the ticket for?

Yep, im done speeding for alongggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time.

it sounds like you have two copies of your ticket? if so, you could probably include one of them with your check.

for the two tickets i've received, the procedure was this: cop gives me one slip of paper, this is my ticket. 2 weeks later, i receive something in the mail from the court stating my crime, the fine i need to pay ("bail"), the court date should i wish to contest the charge, and the cost for attending traffic school. this slip of paper is either a form itself or it has a tear-off form. you fill out and mail the form and the check, and you keep your ticket.

does this answer your question at all?

Well, he asked would if like to attend court and pay a smaller fine, but i wasn't thinking straight at the time. I said ya and he just gave me the ticket with the address of the court and what room number i should attend. Now that i read the ticket it says the court date is March 08, which is to long to wait. Im trying to get the appropriate forms now so i can take traffic school and pay whatever fines w/o receiving any points. Either way i do it i will not recieve points, but the court date is to far away. I rather pay and take the 4 hour traffic school and get it over with. There keeping my D.L a a bond thing right now even though i have a spare DL march 8th is to long to wait.

In Illinois, and probably most other places too, the ticket is now your drivers license. You can still drive whenever you want.
