Hello all.
In speedfan i see a reading for remote temp what exactly is remote temp?is it your case temp?
Sorry for dumb question but u never learn if u never ask.
 
It could be a lot of things. Chances are its either the motherboard temp sensor, case temp sensor or a power supply temp sensor
 
I believe there are lots of user-supplied configurations available on the speedfan website. Try downloading one for your board and chances are it'll have the proper labels on those sensors!
 
remote temp for me is CPU

on the lefft side click on the little plus sgine next to the computer and then click on Seonsor in about 20 sec or less it will display your temps with propper lables.
