I was toying with Speedfan and I am not sure if I understand it very clear which fans/temps maybe you guys can help me..What Speedfan shows

Temp1: 37c
Temp2: 50c (with fire icon)
Temp3: 11c
HDD0: 37c
HHD1: 38c
Temp1: 40c
Core: 52c (with fire icon)

I am hoping that my Raidmax case is cool but I am not sure where or what Temp2 comes from? and I can't figure which temp for case

You have to use the monitor software that came with your mobo to get the initial readings. Then you can figure out which ones mean which in speedfan. Speedfan is generic and has to be configured manually for newer mobos. Or you can read the numbers from your BIOS sutup pages.

Looks like Temp2 and Core are your two CPU core temps, HDDs are probably correct as they come from the HDDs and not from the mobo's health chip, temp3 is probably reading the wrong port and temp1 is probably the case temp.

no mobo monitor comes with my trusty ECS KV1 mobo that is the reason I downloaded SpeedFan first place :(

Any monitor utility on their web site or do you know which health chip it uses? Winbond makes many of the health chips found on mobos and I know there is a generic Winbond utility out there - just need to find it - it may be on the CD that came with your mobo and you don't recognize it. Or look in your BIOS setup for what the mobo reports (should be a page there with the current Temp and Voltage readings. Then configure SF to them if you can't find a more useful utility. IAC, I don't even look at ECS when shopping for mobos.
