Speedfan temps on Biostar nForce3 250

I recently put together an Athlon 64 with Biostar mobo from the newegg combo deal. I didn't put too many fans in the system (only CPU HSF, PSU fan, and video card HSF) so I wanted to make sure ventilation was adequate. So I installed Speedfan 4.29 and got the following results:

Temp1: 29C
Temp2: 86C (!!)
Temp3: fluctuates wildly
HD: 41C
Temp1: 40C
Core: 38C

According to BIOS, my CPU temp is 33C, so I'm guessing Temp1 is supposed to be the CPU temp.

I'm concerned about Temp2, which is kinda high, and was wondering what this is measuring, and if this would be a problem that needs to be addressed. My system has been stable for the last day or so, ran through 3D Mark 2005 without problems. It's been at 86C consistently.

Cliffs:
Biostar nForce3 250, Athlon 64 no overclocking, with Arctic 64 HSF, Radeon 9800, 1 gig ultra ram (PC 3200).
One CPU HSF, one video card HSF, one PSU fan, no other fans in system, although CPU HSF blows air backwards towards rear vent.
Temp2 says 86... problem?

I've got temp 2 staying at 79C (chipset??) all the time...nothing changed regardless ( for almost 2 years). I even have the same mobo lol 😀

I used Lavalys...

not all temps in SpeedFan are accurate. i have it and some of the temps are reported as either 126C or -1C which i know is impossible. usualle, Temp1 in the CPU socket temp and the one that fluctuates is the core temp. the temp inside the core itself. so it fluctuates more.
