Speedfan only shows 1 temp reading

First, I looked for some speedfan forums or something but couldn't find any, and second I wasn't sure where to post this on these forums:p.

Anyway, I have speedfan but it only shows 1 temeperature, my harddrive. If I go into my bios there are 3 temperature readings there, and I want speedfan to show those. A guide said go to configure and check them and press add, but the only one in configure is my harddrive one. Is there any way to add my other temp readings or maybe is my mobo not supported(Abit AX8)?

Thanks.

If you download a program like Everest Home Edition does it show your temperatures? Maybe your MB doesn't support software monitoring, what kind is it?

Abit AX8, Via chipset (said that in OP :p)

Edit:Everrest shows the temperatures of my mobo, cpu, PWM(whats that), gpu, gpu ambient and my harddrive, and so does some ABIT EQ program. Everest also shows my fan speeds, which speedfan also does not show.

So now I have a program that shows it, but I wouldn't mind getting them to be shown in speedfan because its much easier to access the readings then in Everest.

Careful, although it only shows 1 fan, that program may control various fans, which means, lower the settings of one fan, you could damage you GPU. That program is not perfected, and has very hard times detecting multiple fans connected to the same molexes. Never lower any fans through that kind of unpredictable software, only through hardware controls, like panels and the such. Highly recommended.

K, I'll just use that I guess...stupid speedfan :|.

On a sidenote, about OC GURU, I was looking at it yesterday, and clicked "turbo" and it oced my computer right there! Only like a hundred or 2 megahertz, but CPU-Z showed it too, so I switched it right back..your saying I shouldn't use it?

Yup...OC GURU can foul up your BIOS, requiring you to reflash. Always overclock in the BIOS. Abit EQ works fine. Just set the parameters that you want to monitor. Avoid the use of those alerts!
