SpeedFan: Does it take up a lot of resources when monitoring in the background?

How much resources does Speedfan take up while monitoring in the background?

My rig:
AMD 3700+ 2.2GHz
EVGA 7800GT CO w/ Copper heatsink
Epox 9npa+ ultra
2GB of OCZ

I want speedfan to monitor my temps (and alert me when/if they get to hot) while playing games but I don?t want it to interfere with my performance to much.

According to speedfan my CPU core temp is about 26C while idle and 29C under load by prime 95.

Also: Do you know if my mobo has a temp meter on the chipset? Thanks!

I don't have it installed right now, sry.

But just ctrl+alt+del and see for yourself. It shouldn't be that much.
