A motorist was unknowingly caught in an automated speed trap that measured his speed using radar.

He later received a ticket for $40 and a photo of his car in the mail.

Instead of payment, he sent the police department a photograph of $40.

Several days later, he received a letter from the police department that contained another picture -- of handcuffs.
 
id say my true story of receiving a ticket for an unpaid toll in the mail was funnier. i have a black prelude and the car in the pick running the toll was a white bmw
 
i also think you missed the last part of the joke..

something to the effect that the handcuff pic contained a note telling him what he wanted to do, where-as he promptly sent payment.
 
Sounds like a joke you'd read in readers digest, to lite-hearted IMO.

Maybe my grandma would find it funny :laugh:
