Hi.
I have a 2 computer peer to peer network using a cable modem and would like to find something similar to Dial Up Networking Monitor (which of course doesn't work with cable) to monitor my download speeds. I have tried Netmedic, but it seems to have a lot of bugs in it, as I am always getting error messages saying it performaed an illegal operation, etc. I don't need all the information netmedic gives, just a monitor that constantly tells the speed I am getting when loading web pages or downloading.

Thanks in advance,
Roner

Hmmm I haven't tried netmedic in some time so I just reinstalled it. Haven't tried it since getting cable. I don't get any errors but its speed reporting seems highly inaccurate.

davidog, Bglad: Thanks for the info. I think maybe I am due for yet another re-installation of Win98 (it's been awhile this time), and that may be the cause of the errors.

Homerboy: Thanks for letting me know about DUMeter. Just what I needed.
