Hi,
I have been playing around with Fan Speed for some time, and did various things. Notably lowering fan speed to ridiculously low lels to reduce fan noise. Sometimes the machine restarts by itself, when I think the fan speed was set so low. Can setting fan speed so low cause your machine to restart ? i.e. processor hung or something? or would it most likely be attributed to software problem.
 
Yeah, you turned it so low you're causing your PC to overheat. Doesn't the first screen in SpeedFan say "This is intended for users that know what they're doing"? 😛
