I finally jumped the AMD ship and got an E8400 yesterday got everything setup and started to OC and got some very... intersting results. I'm running an evga 780i mobo(their only one) and a Tuniq tower 120 and at 3.6Ghz 9x400 after about a min of Prime95 both speed fan and core temp are reading about 70c. The odd thing is the idle temp seems about right, between 39-42c with the OC. Did I do somethign wrong or did I just get a bad chip 
if I can't get something figured out, since most people are getting around 4Ghz on air, I'll get some better themal paste and throw it on there. Just used some cheap dynex a friend had.
