Speech gone too far?

Just curious. The user DVK916 has this in his signature. I've discussed with him several times about atleast respecting those who have a religion (you guys can check past posts, I've also in my view stayed fairly respectful to him).
I don't have a problem that he doesn't like religion or the fact he makes it extremely clear. In fact I'm glad he can voice his opinion.

But I am wondering if people agree that perhaps his signature has gone too far by calling the Bible and Quran filthy. That seems a little extreme and unreasonable.

I'm just checking to see what call the mods make. I don't want this to turn into any huge debate, but I want to see if there is any consensus to see if it is possible to ask him to refrain from that.

So what do the mods say? Within bounds that you guys are fine with, or taking it a step too far?

Again I want to emphasize that it is his choice what to believe. I don't want him to have a Quran, Torah, or Bible at all or believe it. If he wants to believe what he espouses by all means he should. But again I feel there is a boundary that is crossed when the lack of respect reaches a certain level, and I want to see if he has overstepped that boundary

In my opinion it is flame bait.
You are purposely adding that to your signature to get responses such as what you are getting right now.

Since you don`t believe in anything religious why not just state that in your sig instead of antagonizing people with your sig??

1) Free speech does not apply on a private forum - which is what this place is.

2) In the real world, free of speech can be overridden by public safety. One does not have the freedom to shout Fire in a crowded theatre.

The same goes here, an attempt to troll and/or create trouble is not protected; look at some of the happenings in P/N & OT when people attempt to take "freedom of speech" to far.
