Tired of paying high Verizon prices. Even with a $ 20.00 per month employer "discount" my 8 GB plan is too high. I do like the fact that a few spots I frequent quite often the Verizon signal is rock solid and AT & T & TM work poorly or not at all. Since I am a Spectrum cable customer they offer unlimited data ( throttled @ about 21GB ) montly with "free talk & text" for $ 49.99 no contract. I own a Galaxy S9+. They claim its on Verizon's network, same signal same towers etc. Will save close to $ 40.00 monthly. Anyone using this service can you provide any feedback or knowledge if its really the same Verizon network etc? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and observations.

I am able to report that after having switched from Verizon over to Spectrum Mobile that Spectrum does use the Verizon towers and so far coverage is the same. Tested in places AT & T & TM rarely work & signal was strong.Apparently they are using this as a way to retain there cable customers. The $ 49.00 "unlimited" data and "free" talk and text plans are for their cable/internet customers only. Porting my # over was painless and the switch will save me more than $ 400.00 over 12 months compared to the 8 GB plan I had. I tried the Spectrum sim in my S9+ & a Motorola Turbo Droid and it worked in both of those CDMA phones.

I switched to Red Pocket 2 months ago and have been very happy with them...prepaid plan for $30/month for 5GB...they have a 10GB plan for $45 I think...

You can pick which service you want with them, ATT, Tmobile, Sprint or Verizon...when you order, you specify which SIM you want that will work with the appropriate service...

Nice find. As long as I keep Spectrum the $ 45.00 plan I have has been rock solid so far for a post paid account. MVNO baby!
