specs question about mobile AXP

I'm researching some components to upgrade my PC. I"m looking to go cool and quiet, and while the A64 is too pricey for my tastes ATM, the mobile AXP looks to fit the bill. Over at Newegg it says the mobile Bartons are 266FSB, but it lists the 2500+ barton at 1.83 GHz.... using a 133 system bus I can calculate 1862MHz (14*133) but thats not 1.83GHz.... using 166 system bus I can calculate 1826 (11x166) and that is 1.83GHz.

Is newegg wrong about the FSB or do they just have the proc speed incorrect?

Those are simply estimates. I usually run my mobiles with pc3200 or higher memory at 200 fsb. Be sure your motherboard has multiplier adjustments in the bios. Otherwise, your mobile may run as low as 600 (default setting for many boards). I recommend the abit nf7-s, which has a wide range of adjustments. If you are using an air cooled heatsink, I wouldn't run your mobile higher than 1.7 volts.

They continue to misprint the actual clock speed after all this time... you are correct, it's 1862 MHz... not 1826 MHz (1.83 GHz).
