I think the computer is his house...

very right, his entire 10,000 square foot house is ENTIRELY computer controlled. When someone walks in teh room the music, paintings and even the window blinds will all change to suit what they have told the computer they like. Any of the ~hundred lcd's that are used as digital paintings can be used to access the house mainframe.

BTW: I am completely serious too.

Hey thanks. Mikey! I'm a lucky man 😉

If his house is a computer, I wonder it has ever BSOD, locked up and required rebooting all the while his appliances are running (dishwasher, washing machine, tv's, etc.) Awe, I'm sure he has servants to take care of that anyway.LOL 😉

maybe he has 640k ram!
He never said that. What he really meant was that 640k was enough for that time. Jeez, I don't exactly idolize the guy but don't go misquoting him. It only makes you look dumber.

windows troubleshooting session...

bill gates works away at his computer using his latest operating system.... oops, a hacker got in through one of the holes i left. i'll have to create a patch for that later...

ok... I have a question: why not ask him directly?

I'm sure there's some e-mail address somewhere that he actually uses. Wouldn't that be easy to find? I mean, AT has 10,000 members. Let's say only 500 have really good ties with the industry, and only 50 out of them have Bill's e-mail. Can they ask him this simple question?

I'm sure Stephen Wozniak would answer such a question, if he's asked; so it's safe to assume Bill Gates would, too...

He definately uses macs, if he actually had to use software his company written all day long - he'd be forced to update and patch it himself!

how ironic on your sentence structure. "He didnt say that, but what he meant to say is..." He said, whether the intent was implied or not, he said no PC ever need more than 640k ram.

But this is hardly worth debating

:disgust:

he might use linux too! KDE, which is more "windows-like"
