This is not going to be another comp spec thread.
Here are the specs for my new MTB:

Frame: Rocky Mountain element race, full suspension
Cranks: XT with XTR chainrings
Gearing: XT front derailleur, XTR rear derailleur
Brake/gear levers: XT
Brakes: Avid SD7
:Wheels: Mavic CrossROC UST Tubeless
Fork: Manitou SX-R
Seat: Selle Italia Genuine Gel
Tires: Hutchinson tubeless
Headset: RaceFace

Needless to say this ride is sweet.
Riding is great now.

I got some really good deals.
Spent only around $800 since some parts was taken from the old bike.

Frame: $376
Wheels: $250 complete
XT front because it is better than XTR and only $8 new
Slightly used XTR rear, $40
+ the rest (cables and stuff)

Price in bikeshop, new, for this would be around $2200

<< Is it a car? >>

It's a bicycle. :D

FrustratedUser, you've got a pretty sweet deal here. To bad I can't get a bike here. I don't know how to assemble one. :D

Does that compare to my $150 Huffy? :)

Looks to me like some serious $$$ recently got spent.

WOOOO!!HOO!

Riding this weekend. Worth every cent.
I highly recommend spending $$$ on a sweet bike.

I choose between a new rig and this. Seems like a new rig has to wait.

Was just thinking about how weird it would be for someone to start describing their newborn with that statement.

Nice!

One of the guys I work with just got one of these (A Pro deal as our shop carries KHS)

KHS

They sent it with the wrong wheel set though (No disk brake hubs) so there are sending him a new wheel set, and he allready bought AVID Disks to "Upgrade" it....(lucky bastage)

I somehow got really confused because I click on this thread thinking that your new bouncing baby weighs 9 lbs or something.

Sounds nice. I am toying with getting an FS bike one of these days (I would love to hold out for a Seven Duo to match my other ti bikes but will probably go with an FSR or Santa Cruz).

Santa Cruz superlight is a nice frame, but expensive.
The Gary Fisher sugar is a sweet ride but the price is $3500.
