Specific theory concerning 60->80 adapter on PAL6035

Okay, we've all mentioned within the past week that the 60->80 adapter might provide resistance to the 80 mm fan. I think this theory has good reasoning behind it. This, of course, assumes that the fan is set to blow. Since the PAL6035 are specifically designed to suck, this factor should no longer be an issue, correct? Assuming a good seal between the sink/adapter and adapter/fan, won't the 80 mm fan now draw more air through the places the PAL6035 was designed for, resulting in lower temps?

Start flaming if I'm wrong! 🙂
